Rocks come in all shapes and sizes. And so do our worries, our battles, our concerns. Exhale.
I adore family and feel love internally so deeply when I am around them. My niece, Carin, shared how she paints rocks with her son, Noah- “something for them to do.” This girl has always been creative and talented and fun. But her heart is what takes something so simple and makes it bigger.
So recently when I went on a walk, I thought about her. Thought- you know, painting a rock, something so simple that might touch someone’s heart and wouldn’t it be the most amazing surprise to stumble upon.
Idea. Sometimes we need to physically do something that will let our body truly exhale any physical or mental aches. There are so many graces we can turn to for comfort, from talking to art, from faith to yoga. So what about rock painting. Rock painting with 1, 2 or 3 words that represent a message of hope, a message of love, a message of support.
What if you wrote/painted on something like- CHOOSE HIM, BELIEVE, NOT ALONE.
Tip. So the idea is to not make it complicated. Lots of videos of rock painting online. Acrylic is said to work great as well as acrylic pens. Use what you have. Use what you can find. Maybe it does not have to be about the finished look. Maybe,
maybe you will be on a walk and see a message of hope and it will feel like a hug that you can almost physically feel. Maybe it will feel like something you truly needed to receive, or to give.
