Somewhere “away” is calling. So sharing some “get away tips”…

 

Who wants to go to Ibiza? Yeah, me too. But I’m not. But I WILL tell you 3 easy travel tips.⁣
⁣

Tip 1. 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭, 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐟 & 𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 (or bikini & beanie). No matter where you go, these are essential to take with you. I keep a scarf in my suitcase so I don’t forget it. I hate being cold and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used it during a summer getaway. (No, I don’t wear it to the pool ha ha!)

Tip 2. 𝐒𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞. This one is my fave for road trips. How many times do you kick off your shoes and then there is a quick stop. I love having my slides in the car to slip them on real quick. Just easy. I love easy!⁣

Tip 3. 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐠. And I do! I have a great toiletry bag from Amazon that I love and keep filled at all times. I replace as needed. From toothbrush to perfume sample to post its! Check out your essential list below!

 

 “Do you” before “you go.” You deserve to do what you wish you had time for (so don’t wait last minute to do this). 

When the kids were little, I worried so much about packing for them and not forgetting their essentials (save me if naptime came and we discovered naptime buddy got left at home) that I would run out of time for my essentials.

Do not find yourself adoring your cute sandals by the pool but really wishing you had done a pedicure or looking at photos that you take and feel “that hair” glaring back at you.

You are going on a trip to relax and feel good about yourself. DO whatever it is that you wish you had the time for. Girlfriend, you have permission- TAKE THE TIME.
